EVALUATION A-26s AT NADZAB & HOLLANDIA BETWEEN MAY & JULY 1944

These aircraft arrived at Finschafen in May 1944 on board ship. They were assembled and flown to Nadzab where the testing by the 3rd Bomb Group began. The aircraft were flown at Hollandia as well and more than likely flown back to Nadzab after the testing. There is a substantiated report of one of the aircraft being crashed at Nadzab where it had ended up after the test.

EVALUATION A-26 AT HOLLANDIA VIA SCOTT LINDLEY

Purportedly one of the 4 evaluation A-26s tested by the 3rd BG in 1944. It has the under wing gun pods. The writing on the fuselage appears to be Country Rambler. This is most likely Nadzab where the 4 aircraft returned after the evaluation.
